“It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith.” Ephesians 4:11-13

At Redlands Church of the Nazarene,
we believe that ministry is using whatever God has given us to serve him and the needs of others.
We minister in 3 directions:
To the Lord,
To believers and
To non-believers.

We seek to achieve this goal by fulfilling God’s 5 purposes for the church to:
Communicate God’s work,
Care for God’s family,
Celebrate God’s presence,
Educate God’s people and
Demonstrate God’s love.

Allow God to shape you into His ministry through your Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences.

CARE MINISTRIES
/FOOD PANTRY
Provide nonperishable, bulk groceries requiring little or no preparation to church and community members of limited means who are hungry and uncertain of where they will be able to get food.

LOVING MINISTRIES

WELCOME MINISTRIES
A smiling face, a warm handshake, a friendly hug, and a sincere greeting make people feel welcome and provide a quick information reference for first time guests. Whether in the parking lot or the foyer of the church, greeters give the first impression to our visiting guests.

PASTORAL CARE
Serve on a team who coordinates how the church will honor our pastoral staff when they celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, pastor’s appreciation day, and other special events occur in their lives.

USHERS
Perhaps the most visible of all ministry teams, ushers help seat people, hand out programs, handle crowd control, answer a multitude of questions, take the offering, help administer communion, and assist the pastor as needed.

STROKE MINISTRY
Help minister to emotional, spiritual, and social needs of stroke victims by taking them on outings and day trips and helping them in a variety of ways.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
